Acme’s vision is to be known for individualized quality services by providing person centered and high quality of care to each individual we serve. To have capable, compassionate and well trained staff caring for our consumers. To maintain and grow our services keeping our three core priorities in mind: Individualized Support & Growth.

​Acme serves adults with disabilities through waiver funding. We have multiple homes where one to three individuals live together. 

• Improve the quality of life of individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities.
• To provide residential services for adults with intellectual disabilities.
• To promote individuals independence in a safe and supportive environment.
• To provide services to individuals with disabilities to participate fully in their community.

History

Henry and Kathie Hoffer founded Acme Providers for an Individual who had lived as their foster son in their home for over 17 years. After his 21st birthday it became clear, it was time for him to experience his independence in a new, supportive, safe environment. That was the beginning of Acme Providers.
The origin of our name, Acme, means ‘pinnacle or top’ . Our goal was to provide the pinnacle of care through comprehensive supports in a community setting. It was a long and difficult journey, but there were many helping hands along the way, for which Henry and I are ever grateful.
Acme Providers incorporated in 2004 and received its non-profit status in 2007. In 2008 Acme was licensed by wavier services to provide transportation for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Finally, in June 2010 Acme Providers opened it first home, “Faith House”. We provided respite services  that summer and supported up to 5 individuals.
November 2010 Acme Providers, had accomplished it goal and was now licensed to be a “6400 Adult Residential Community Living” home for 2 individuals. Our foster son moved into Faith House November 1st and his housemate on November 15, 2010.
In conclusion, the whole concept of Acme originated with Henry and I, to be the ‘hands and feet’ of our Lord Jesus Christ. Without our faith and believe in our loving GOD, Acme Providers would not exist . Henry and I give GOD - ALL the glory for Acme Providers, Inc.                          ~ Founder Kathie Hoffer​
